Preparing for the Placer County Fair livestock shows starts here. This page includes all required forms, rules, and resources for 4-H and FFA exhibitors, parents, and buyers. From the official handbook to state guidelines and sale information, you’ll find every document you need in one easy place.

Whether you're a first-year exhibitor or a returning show family, these forms help ensure a smooth, fair, and well-organized experience for everyone involved. Please review all documents carefully and submit any required paperwork by the listed deadlines.

Entry Deadline of May 15th

Required Forms

  • Adult Code of Conduct 
  • YQCA Training (Primary & Ag Technology Exhibitors are exempt)
  • Independent Record Book and Declaration (Independent Exhibitors only)
  • Independent Exhibitor Insurance (Independent Exhibitors only)
  • Bill of Sale (Required for all Market and Replacement Animals)
    • Animals bred by the exhibitor can use the Bred & Owned document below.
  • Advisor/Leader Approval (4-H, FFA, and Grange Exhibitors)
  • Still Exhibit Entry
  • Cattle Exhibitors are required to bring their California Bill or Sale or Consignment with them to weigh ins. 
  • Meet the Exhibitor Promotion (Optional)
    • Exhibitors are encouraged to submit a photo of themselves with their Livestock/Ag Technology Project and a short bio. This is open to all exhibitors.

EXHIBTORS WHO FAIL TO SUBMIT ALL DOCUMENTS BY MAY 31ST, 2026 WILL RESULT IN INELIGIBILITY TO SHOW/SELL at the 2026 PLACER COUNTY FAIR. THERE WILL BE NO EXECPTIONS.

Meet the Exhibitor

Show off your project before fair! Submit a photo and short bio to be featured on Placer County Fair social media and our website. It’s a great way to highlight your hard work and connect with potential buyers ahead of the Junior Livestock Auction. Open to all livestock exhibitors.
