Entries are due June 18th Noon-7:00pm. Drop off will be the back of Jones hall at @the Grounds in Roseville, California.
How It Works
Create and display an original invention designed to improve everyday life—solve a problem, increase efficiency, enhance safety, or add comfort.
Free to Enter • Open to All Ages
What to Submit
Each entry must include:
- An invention concept (prototype, model, or detailed design—does not need to function)
- A display board (poster, tri-fold, foam board, etc.)
Your Display Must Show:
- Invention Name
- The Problem
- The Solution
- Everyday Impact
Entries should be easy to understand in under one minute.
No digital screens or electronics allowed.
Display Guidelines
- Must be self-standing and stable
- No wall mounting, taping, or hanging
- No sharp or hazardous materials
- No electricity provided
- Text and visuals must be clear and easy to read
Judging & Awards
This is a public voting competition. Attendees will vote based on:
- Creativity & originality
- Usefulness in everyday life
- Clear, engaging presentation
Winners will be selected within each age group.
- Elementary School- Fair shirt, pin and 4 Potter tickets!
- Middle School - Fair shirt, pin and 4 Potter tickets!
- High School-Fair shirt, pin and $100
- College & Adults- Fair shirt, pin and $150
Voting ends Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 PM.

Its free! just drop off your submission at the location below at the drop off time our staff will collect your info and let you know if you win!
